<p>In celebration of America’s 250<sup>th</sup>, the Middlebury Public Library is excited to showcase books that influenced American culture and history, based on the work <i>Americanon</i> by Jess McHugh. Join us on Friday, September 4<sup>th</sup>at 1:00 pm as we discuss the seventh book in our series, <i>Etiquette</i> by Emily Post. After our talk, stay for light refreshments. Previous works featured this year have been <i>Webster’s Dictionary of American English</i>, <i>The Old Farmer’s Almanac</i>, <i>Betty Crocker’s Picture Cookbook</i>, <i>McGuffey’s Readers</i>, the <i>Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin, </i>and<i> How to Win Friends and Influence People</i>.</p>
